Equipping You for Purpose, Progress, and Possibility

At Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church, we believe in empowering our members and the wider community with access to tools, opportunities, and support that reflect Christ’s compassion and care. Below you’ll find a range of resources to help meet educational, medical, and vocational needs—with love, prayer, and practical action.

Aspiring Christians in Healthcare Scholarship

“Contribute to the need of the saints and seek to show hospitality”

Healthcare has become financially driven; medicine and insurance are expensive, and our communities need individuals dedicated to caring for God’s people. The church is the body of Christ, and as members of the body, we are committed to shifting the healthcare paradigm one professional at a time—through contributing to young Christians interested in healthcare.

Scholarship Sponsors:

  • Alisha Averett Gillies, PharmD

  • Jasmyn Jones, PharmD

  • Winifred Kennebrew, PharmD

About the Scholarship:

Established in 2018, the Aspiring Christians in Healthcare Scholarship awards one (1) $500 scholarship annually to a graduating high school senior who will attend an accredited college/university and major in a healthcare-related field.
