We are so honored that you’re considering worshipping with us at Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church. Whether it’s your first time visiting, you’re returning after a while, or you’re considering becoming a member, we want you to feel at home and confident about your visit.
What to Expect
A Welcoming Atmosphere:
From the moment you arrive, our ushers and safety team will greet you warmly and guide you every step of the way—from parking to seating.
Safe & Thoughtful Worship:
Your health and safety matter to us. Here’s what we’ve put in place:
- Masks are encouraged.
- Temperature checks upon arrival (required for entry).
- Hand sanitizing stations at each entrance.
- Physical distancing observed in all seating areas.
- Overflow areas in Harris Hall and Julia Fredrick Banquet Hall ensure everyone can participate comfortably.
Worship Experience:
- Spirit-filled services with powerful preaching and uplifting music.
- Seating preference (left, center, right) will be honored as space allows.
- Every other pew is used to maintain distancing.
- First pews are reserved for the Deaf Ministry and those joining or recommitting to Christ.
- Communion cups are distributed upon entry on First Sundays.
Children & Families:
- Children are welcome and will sit with their parents or guardians during the service.
- Nursery services (ages 1–4) will be phased back in and staffed by trained volunteers using CDC guidelines.
Accessibility:
- Special accommodations are available for elderly and disabled visitors.
- Ushers and safety team members are ready to assist.
